What is ClaimSnappy?
An app for work expenses. Snap receipts and track business journeys as they happen, and ClaimSnappy turns them into organised expenses and claim packs for your business or accountant.
Who is ClaimSnappy for?
People who spend money for work, the businesses that pay them back, and the accountants who look after both. You can use it on your own or as a team.
Can employees track mileage?
Yes. Start a trip when you set off and the iPhone app records the route, then works out the miles at HMRC’s approved rate. You can also add a journey by hand.
Can I use ClaimSnappy with my accountant?
Yes. Connect your accountant from Settings and they see your expenses in their practice workspace. You choose to share, and you can stop sharing at any time.
Does my accountant need to pay?
No. The practice workspace is free. Clients pay for their own plan, unless their practice chooses to cover their seats.
Can my business use its existing expense form?
Yes. Upload your claim form as a PDF, a photo or a spreadsheet. ClaimSnappy maps its boxes once, then fills it in from each claim.
Can I export my expenses?
Yes. A claim pack comes with the filled form, the receipts and a CSV. Accountants can also export files laid out for Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage 50 to import.
Is ClaimSnappy accounting software?
No. ClaimSnappy captures and organises expenses before they reach accounting software. Your accountant keeps using the software they already use.
Can I use ClaimSnappy personally?
Yes. The Personal plan is free for keeping your own work receipts and journeys in order, with a monthly allowance.
Where is my data stored?
With our hosting provider, Railway, in the United States. Our privacy notice lists every supplier that handles your data, where they are, and the safeguards we rely on.
