For UK employees, teams and accountants

Never build an expense claim again.

Snap receipts and log journeys as they happen. At month end, ClaimSnappy fills in your company’s own claim form, attaches every receipt and prices the mileage at HMRC rates. You check it and press send.

  • No card needed
  • Set up in minutes
  • Keep everything if you stop

30 days free, then from £5 a month. Free for accountants.

The company’s own expense claim form, filled in by ClaimSnappy: name, payroll number, period, eight receipts with their VAT, and the total.
ClaimSnappy on iPhone: £378.88 waiting to be claimed this month, with Upload, Start trip and Start claim.

Real ClaimSnappy screens. The people and companies in them are made up.

In a nutshell

  • Couldn’t be easier

Receipts: one snap reads the merchant, date, total and VAT. Trips: two taps record the route and miles. Every line keeps its proof. A full audit trail, built as you go.

  • No more expense form filling

Your company’s form, not ours. Upload it once and our mapper learns it. Every claim fills it in, receipts attached. We fit you, not the other way round.

  • Works for everybody

You snap and send. Your manager approves the month in one place. Your accountant gets every line, receipt and trip. One flow, start to finish.

  • Set up once, runs automatically

Set your form, rates and who pays you back once. Every month your claim is ready to send. Your accountant sees it all, free.

The difference

Month end, the old way.
And with ClaimSnappy.

Most expense claims are rebuilt from memory on the last Friday of the month. Every receipt that goes missing is money you paid and never get back.

Receipts
Without it: Dug out of pockets, the car and your inbox. Some never turn up.
With ClaimSnappy: Snapped when you pay, then read for you: merchant, date, total, VAT and lines.
Mileage
Without it: Rebuilt from your calendar and a map, one journey at a time.
With ClaimSnappy: Recorded as you drive on iPhone, or added with route lookup. Priced at the right rate.
The form
Without it: Every line retyped into the company spreadsheet.
With ClaimSnappy: Your company’s own form, filled in, with every receipt attached.
VAT
Without it: Worked out receipt by receipt, if at all.
With ClaimSnappy: Added up for you, with reclaimable VAT kept separate.
Sending
Without it: Emailed, chased, and asked about weeks later.
With ClaimSnappy: Sent from ClaimSnappy to whoever pays you back. On Team, approvers get reminders.

How it works

You snap and send.
ClaimSnappy does the middle.

  1. Step 1: Snap

Photograph the receipt when you pay, or start a trip as you set off. Seconds, then back to work.

  2. Step 2: Check

ClaimSnappy reads it and files it to the right month and category. Anything unclear is flagged for you.

  3. Step 3: Claim

At month end, one tap builds the claim on your company’s form, receipts and mileage included.

  4. Step 4: Send

Look it over and send it to your manager, your client or your accountant. Done.

In the app

Capture it.
Forget about it.

The three jobs that eat your month end, done in the moment instead.

01

Snap receipts as they happen.

Take a photo. ClaimSnappy reads the merchant, date, amount, VAT, category and line items, and files the expense for you.

More on receipt capture
Expenses on the web: every receipt with its date, merchant, category, claim status and amount.
A receipt read on iPhone: The Bread Shed, £9.95 with £1.66 VAT, dated 20/10/2026 and filed under Subsistence.

02

Drive. We’ll handle the mileage.

On iPhone, tap once as you set off and the journey is recorded as you drive. On any device, type the start and finish and the route is looked up for you. Every mile is priced at HMRC’s approved rate, or your company’s.

More on mileage
Trips on the web: each journey with its route, purpose, miles and amount, and 10,711.8 miles in all.
Trips on iPhone: 16 journeys not on a claim yet, worth £245.93, each with its miles and amount.

03

Your expenses organise themselves.

Every receipt and journey is filed to the right month and category as it arrives, so at month end the claim is ready to check and send.

More on claims
Reports on the web: £2,703.17 of business spend in the 2026–27 tax year, month by month and by category.
Spend on iPhone: 24 receipts and journeys not on a claim yet, £378.88, newest first.

Your form

Your expense process doesn’t need to change overnight.

Upload the claim form your business already uses. ClaimSnappy maps it once, then fills it in from every claim: names, dates, merchants, VAT, mileage, totals, even today’s date. Anything that never changes can be fixed text.

Keep the form.
Lose the filling-in.

What you get

Every fiddly bit of expenses.
Handled.

The small jobs that turn a claim into an evening, done for you, your manager and your accountant.

  • Never type a receipt again

Merchant, date, total, VAT and every line item are read from the photo. You only fix what looks wrong.

  • Clear a pocketful in one go

Snap receipts one after another. Each is read while you take the next.

  • No signal, no problem

A receipt snapped underground or on site waits on your phone and is read when you’re back online.

  • Online receipts in two taps

On iPhone, share a screenshot straight in from your inbox or a booking app. On the web, drop it in.

  • Only claim what’s business

Split one receipt into business and personal, and only the business part goes on the claim.

  • Every mile at the right rate

Tax-year rates, the 10,000-mile change, passengers, motorbikes and bikes are all worked out. Company cars use HMRC’s fuel rates.

  • Recharge clients without a spreadsheet

Tag spend and journeys to a client or project, then see what each one cost.

  • Tax relief, ready to check

If your employer pays under HMRC’s rate, a P87 is prepared for you to check. Sole traders get a Self Assessment year summary.

  • Claims arrive on the 1st

Turn on month-end claims and each person’s claim is made for them and sent to you to approve.

  • Nothing sits waiting

A claim still waiting after two working days sends its approver one reminder.

  • Never repay a company card

Spend on the company card is recorded for the books but kept off what you pay people back.

  • Year end, already laid out

Your accountant gets HMRC-style mileage logs, a P11D working sheet and pre-filled P87s, per client.

What you send

Everything accounted for.

Each month becomes one tidy claim: your company’s claim form filled in, a mileage claim with every journey, a VAT summary, every receipt, and a CSV for the books.

A sent claim on the web: £427.79 from 18 trips and 8 receipts, with the filled company form, the mileage claim, and every receipt photo to download as a zip.
The mileage claim: every September journey with its miles and amount at the company’s 45p a mile, and the shortfall against HMRC’s rate.
A receipt page from the claim: The Linden Hotel, £109.32 with £18.22 VAT.
The company’s own claim form, filled in: eight receipts with their VAT, and the total claimed.
  • Your company’s form, filled
  • Mileage claim
  • VAT summary
  • Every receipt
  • CSV for the books

Mileage

What are your business miles worth?

Journeys are the easiest expense to forget: a month later, nobody remembers every trip. Move the slider to see what yours add up to.

HMRC’s approved mileage rates for a car or van from 6 April 2026: 55p a mile for the first 10,000 business miles in a tax year, then 25p. Commuting to your usual workplace doesn’t count.

Worth, over a year

£1,980

£165 a month, if every journey is logged.

Each journey you forget to log is money you spent and don’t get back. ClaimSnappy prices every journey at the rate for its tax year, or at your company’s own rate.

If your employer pays less than HMRC’s rate, you may be able to claim tax relief on the difference. ClaimSnappy can prepare a P87 for you to check. This is a guide, not tax advice.

Something else? Ask us.

What is ClaimSnappy?

An app for work expenses. Snap receipts and track business journeys as they happen, and ClaimSnappy turns them into organised expenses and claims for your business or accountant.

Who is ClaimSnappy for?

People who spend money for work, the businesses that pay them back, and the accountants who look after both. You can use it on your own or as a team.

Can my business use its existing expense form?

Yes. Upload your claim form as a PDF, a spreadsheet, or a CSV. ClaimSnappy maps its boxes once, then fills it in from each claim.

What happens when my 30-day trial ends?

Nothing is charged, because we never asked for a card. Pick Solo or Team to keep adding receipts and journeys. If you don’t, your desk turns read-only: everything stays, and you can still open, send and download it.

Do I need the iPhone app?

No. Everything works in a web browser on a phone or a computer: add receipt photos, add journeys with route lookup, and build and send claims. The iPhone app adds live GPS trip recording and quicker capture. There’s no Android app yet; Android phones use the website.

Can employees track mileage?

Yes. Start a trip when you set off and the iPhone app records the route, then works out the miles at HMRC’s approved rate. You can also add a journey by hand.

What if my company pays a different mileage rate?

Set your company’s own rate and ClaimSnappy uses it. If you don’t, journeys are priced at HMRC’s approved rate for the tax year each one was in: 55p a mile for the first 10,000 business miles in a car or van, then 25p, from 6 April 2026.

Can I use ClaimSnappy with my accountant?

Yes. Connect your accountant from Settings and they see your expenses on their practice desk. You choose to share, and you can stop sharing at any time.

Does my accountant need to pay?

No. The practice desk is free. A client on Solo pays £5 a month. A business pays £25 a month, with six people included.

Can I export my expenses?

Yes. Every claim comes with the filled form, the receipts and a CSV. Accountants can also export files laid out for Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage 50 to import.

Is ClaimSnappy accounting software?

No. ClaimSnappy captures and organises expenses before they reach accounting software. Your accountant keeps using the software they already use.

Do the prices include VAT?

Why Not Limited is not registered for VAT, so these prices are the full amount and VAT is not added.

Where is my data stored?

With our hosting provider, Railway, in the United States. Our privacy notice lists every supplier that handles your data, where they are, and the safeguards we rely on.

Your next claim can build itself.

Start today and this month’s receipts and journeys go straight onto your company’s form. 30 days free. No card needed.
